Nous venons de vivre au Canada, le jour de l'Action de grâce. Je me demande comment mes concitoyens et concitoyennes ont vécu cette journée. Qui ont-ils remercié ?

L'action de grâce, ou le remerciement, est la prière biblique la plus belle qui soit. Avant même la venue de Jésus, les juifs étaient tout entiers plongés dans l'action de grâce, dans le remerciement. 

Jésus a fait du dernier moment qu'il a partagé avec ses amis, un MOMENT D'ACTION DE GRÂCE. Et Il nous a laissé cette action de grâce comme un MÉMORIAL à célébrer jusqu'à son retour glorieux. L'EUCHARISTIE EST L'ACTION DE GRÂCE PAR EXCELLENCE. D'ailleurs, le verbe grec "eucharistein" veut dire "rendre grâce". 

Heureuses les personnes qui ont profité de la journée d'hier pour remercier le Créateur et le Donateur de tout bien: DIEU.
