Emma Kok chante "Dancing on the Stars"
À seulement 16 ans, la chanteuse néerlandaise Emma Kok a connu un succès remarquable en remportant la 10e saison de « The Voice Kids » en 2021.
Cependant, son ascension vers la célébrité a été soulignée par une longue bataille contre une maladie chronique rare : la gastroparésie .
Pendant des années, même avant son diagnostic de gastroparésie à l’âge de 11 ans, Kok a dû utiliser des sondes d’alimentation sans connaître la cause sous-jacente à cette situation.
« Il y a 5 ans, on m'a diagnostiqué une gastroparésie. Et pendant toutes ces années, j'ai eu une alimentation par sonde, mais aucun diagnostic n'a été posé », a-t-elle révélé dans une publication sur Instagram en août 2023.
La gastroparésie signifie que son estomac est paralysé , l’empêchant de manger normalement.
« Je peux manger de minuscules morceaux juste pour goûter à quelque chose. Mais c'est aussi pour cela que je suis alimentée par sonde. J'ai deux pompes d'alimentation depuis que je suis bébé. » (1)
